All in all, I have not been able to stick to my ‘release 1 song per month’ resolution for 2010. This really has been a very busy year so far, but so many good things are happening.

The first thing I want to point out is the NEW WEBSITE! I’m sure I spammed most of you telling you to check out the new site, but for those of you who haven’t swung by here in a while, welcome back! Hope you enjoy your stay

The next thing I want to point out (obviously) is a new song! I have been racking my brain trying to pick a song for my next release, and I think this one really hits the spot. I decided to go for something a little outside my comfort zone. Instead of singing about love, and the like, I thought I would sing about my early, EARLY 20s. You know…maybe 2 years ago? My life was all about going out, hitting up the Dallas nightlife with my buddies and meeting new people. Then of course, there would be those times when I would meet a new girl that I wanted to actually stay in touch with. That’s where this song comes in.

Now let me discuss the musical style…When I made this beat, I was on a Tim and Bob kick. If you don’t know Tim and Bob, please direct yourself to YouTube immediately. I’ve always been inspired by their asian-inspired R&B beats they have made for some of the greatest artists. I thought I would take the same approach but add my own twist. I’m sure you’ll be able to tell this is a true Ricky B production
