me? brown boy? really?
I remember a few months ago, I was hanging out in my friend’s apartment. He mentions to us a magazine he stumbled upon called ‘Brown Girl Magazine’ (BG Magazine). We used to think it was highly comical that something with such a name existed. I then noticed that I had another friend that wrote for the magazine.
Well, last month, I was told that they have a ‘Brown Boy’ that they like to write an article about with every issue. I looked through the previous Brown Boys and saw that there was an actor and an Olympic boxer. Naturally, I was happy to have been asked to be this summer issue’s Brown Boy. I finally felt like a step forward had been taken after being musically immobile for the last few months. Having something published on the inter-web (that wasn’t created by me) only meant that I could do more to market myself. Anyways, check it out!
